Feature 03 · Tick off and celebrate

Done. Socks reacts.

Ticking off takes one tap. Then it's time to celebrate, not to check up. If something doesn't get done, there are no coins for it, and that's all.

Celebration in the app: +20 coins arrived, Socks the raccoon cheers
From family life

Two examples.

The Evans family · one home Harry (7) and Sarah

Three in a row.

The situation

Harry is having a good afternoon: put the towels away, empty the dishwasher, shoes on the rack. In the past, hardly anyone noticed.

How it works with Choreaction

  1. Each chore is ticked off with one tap, and Socks reacts straight away.
  2. Because the three come one after the other, the app counts a combo: two, three.
  3. Sarah doesn't need to approve anything, these chores are set to “trust”. She sees the result in her inbox.

Harry notices that keeping going pays off. And tomorrow nothing starts from zero, because there's no streak to break.

The Taylor family · two homes Oliver (11) and Mum

The photo at 4:05 pm.

The situation

Oliver's bedroom chore is set to “photo proof”. At 4:05 pm he's done, and Mum is still out.

How it works with Choreaction

  1. Oliver sends the photo. The chore counts as done straight away, and the 20 coins are “on their way”.
  2. Mum sees the photo next to her reference photo and approves it with one tap.
  3. A few seconds later Oliver's app celebrates: “+20 coins arrived”.

If Mum hadn't reacted, the coins would still have been added after 24 hours. Oliver never waits on a forgotten approval.

ADHD-friendly

Why it helps with ADHD

  • An instant reaction: for kids with ADHD, a reward at the weekend feels very far away. Socks celebrates in the same moment.
  • No streaks: miss a day and you lose nothing. There's no counter that drops back to zero.
  • No telling off: missed chores quietly expire. Socks is never disappointed.

And for everyone else? Every child likes being celebrated. If you don't like animations, turn them off.

In detail

  • One tap is enough, even offline. Ticked off by mistake? Just undo it.
  • Check it your way: trust, photo proof or a grown-up's approval, set per chore.
  • Celebration style: confetti, balloons, fireworks or no animation at all. Everyone picks their own.
  • Combos, not streaks: several chores in a row count up. There are no daily streaks that can break.
  • Socks the raccoon celebrates along. He's never disappointed and never tells anyone off.

Be there when it starts.

We'll let you know as soon as you can try Choreaction in the public beta.
